The BF12 fits the non-driven end of the ball screw and uses a 10mm bearings to support the ball screw. The bearing is allowed to slide inside the housing, to allow for expansion and contraction of the ballscrew. This is vital to the correct operation of the ballscrew, because if the bearing is fixed and the ballscrew expands it will bow causing many problems with the ballscrew operation
